I've had the privilege of working with Raven for the past year at Highland Park United Methodist Church. We’ve worked closely on the creative side of projects for our major clients or ministries within the church. Raven's strong project management and people skills led to her placement as Senior Communications Manager. Working in ministry is a space that requires a lot of heart while still being able to objectively get projects over the line, and Raven excelled in these aspects of work. She exhibits great knowledge in being able to not only manage projects but also manage people of all different skill sets and varying personalities. Beyond all of this, there is still a sense of creativity that balances out the objective/strategic skills that she possesses. She is always an active participant in brainstorm sessions with our creative team. Furthermore, she does a phenomenal job of bridging the gap between creative and client. On paper, Raven has the ability to demonstrate all skills on her resume. However, the most impressive characteristic of hers is her heart. She puts her heart and soul into the work she does. This is reflected through her projects and the people that have the privilege of being able to work alongside her. I wholeheartedly recommend Raven for any and all opportunities she intends to pursue, knowing that she is an outstanding addition to any team.

Raven is an exemplary advocate for those she manages and works with. She is extremely thorough in every project, willing to ask the questions needed, and isn't afraid to approach a project differently when it calls for it. Working with her in times of conflict, she bridges gaps and is a natural mediator, always looking at all sides. Her experience gives her a ton of preparedness for projects and she always makes herself available. On a project we worked on together, she was such a support and encouragement in helping my idea come to life to deliver a fun and fulfilling product for the event.
